The Love, Mel brand is artistic, handmade jewelry inspired by friendships and giving back. Many of the designs were sparked by the ordinary colors, textures, and shapes seen in everyday life-- It's all driven by my lifelong passion for art.

What is usual (or unusual) about the jewelry I create? From piece-to-piece, color theory and traditional fine art techniques are often embraced with the same zeal as they ignored: Art and style have no rules.

Whenever I create a new jewelry collection, I let my ideas flow and the designs naturally take shape. I especially love to experiment with:

Love, Mel is essentially a jewelry focused art project I started in 2018 that continues to be my favorite creative outlet and go-to hobby. It's a unique form of meditation I've been addicted to my whole life.

The entire endeavor happened organically because I love to experiment, learn, and explore new ideas. I like to use a variety of materials and bring unexpected colors or textures together-- I make whatever comes to mind.
